Venture Capital Kickoff 2026 in Munich

Munich’s venture capital community once again came together to kick off the new year. At the Venture Capital Kickoff 2026, more than 200 startups, investors, and key players from the ecosystem gathered for the annual event hosted by BayBG Venture Capital, Cipio Partners, VC Magazin, and the law firm WIPIT.

Over the years, the joint kick-off has firmly established itself as a fixed date in the Bavarian VC calendar. Once again, the event provided an ideal setting for networking, personal exchange, and reconnecting with familiar faces from the startup and investment community.

Discussions throughout the evening focused on current developments in the venture capital market, perspectives for the year ahead, and the importance of close collaboration between founders, investors, and ecosystem partners.

As in previous years, Giesinger Brauerei accompanied the evening with a selection of its beers, contributing to the relaxed and informal atmosphere.
